How Cleaning Starts with You

In a world often overwhelmed by large-scale problems, it's easy to feel powerless.
Seeing all the environmental problems like pollution and overflowing trash, it's easy to wonder if one person can even make a difference. But, the answer is that cleaning starts with you! realizing that even small actions help our planet. When we each take responsibility for keeping things clean, it creates a chain reaction that can change our lives, our communities, and even the whole world.

Cleaning is an act of self-care and a way to show respect for our surroundings. When we take pride in our environment, we create a more pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere for ourselves and our community. Let's make cleaning a priority and contribute to a cleaner, healthier, and happier world.

Planting trees is a simple yet powerful way to make a positive impact on the environment. Trees clean the air, conserve water, and provide food and shelter for various species. Join the effort to plant more trees and help create a healthier planet for future generations.

Watering plants is an act of care that connects us to nature and nurtures life. The simple act of providing water helps plants thrive, creating a more beautiful and sustainable environment. Let's make watering plants a regular habit and enjoy the many benefits they bring to our lives.

Taking the time to remove weeds not only improves the appearance of our gardens but also prevents the spread of unwanted plants. Weeds can quickly take over a garden if left unchecked, making it difficult for other plants to survive. By staying on top of weeding, we can enjoy a more beautiful and productive garden all season long.

Let's all work together to clean up! When we unite to clean, we make our community better for everyone.

“Every piece of litter you pick up is a step towards a healthier planet and a brighter future.”

Lessons Learned and Moving Forward

As we wrap up the first quarter, it's a great time for some personal reflection. We can see what went well, what was hard, and how we can do things better next time. Through this process of reflection, we can understand our experiences better and enhance our skills.

This past quarter have been a time of big learning and finding new things out. I understand the internet better now, especially how it all started and how we get online. I learned how to make a simple webpage, which makes it much easier for me to share information online. I now understand that clear communication is key when creating web blogs. Because of this, I'm focusing on improving my listening skills, so we can collaborate effectively and understand each other better when making a content. I also discovered how useful search engines are for finding information on the internet.

Sometimes it was hard to understand all the new things about the internet. It was also challenging to find the right information using search engines, because sometimes the results are not relevant to what I was looking for. And sometimes the internet was slow, which made it hard to access web blogs and do research especially when I had a deadline.

When I didn't understand the lesson, I asked my teacher or classmates for help. I also practice using search engines to get better at finding what I needed and learning how to tell which websites were reliable sources. When the internet was slow, I tried to be patient and find other things to do while I waited, like doing household or working on a different assignment that didn't require internet access.

Moving into the second quarter, I plan to build upon the positive learning experiences of the past few months.  This proactive approach will ensure that I'm well-prepared to tackle the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

As we start the second quarter, I want to keep building on the good things I learned in the first quarter. I'm going to keep practicing the skills I've learned, like creating web blogs and using search engines, and I'm also going to try to learn new things about the internet. By doing this, I'll be ready for any challenges or chances that come up.

Food Security for All

Nutrition  Month is a special event to remind us about the Importance of eating healthy food. The theme, "Food at Nutrition Security Maging Priority Sapat na Pagkain Karapatan Natin" teaches us that having enough healthy food is something everyone should have, and it must be out top priority. Eating the right food helps our bodies grow strong and we stay well. Good nutrition helps us learn better and feel good every day. It is an important part of living a good life.

Food and nutrition security means making sure all people, at all times, have enough food that is safe and good for their health. This is very important for us because if we don't get the right food, we can get sick more often or find it hard to focus in school or work. That is why food security is something we should all care about families, friends and the government. As we celebrated Nutrition Month at Ilocos Sur National High School, my classmates participated in the food festival. They sold nutritious food and joined the nutrition jingle contests, where we became champions. We enjoyed ourselves and it was a very happy experience.

In conclusion, food and nutrition security is very important because it helps us everyone live a healthy and happy life. It is a right that we all deserve and we must work together as families, communities and a government to make sure no one goes hungry or lacks good food. By eating healthy and supporting each other, we can build a stronger and better future for all.

I want to be an Accountant when I grew up so I will do everything for this dream. I want to help my parents so I will do everything I can.
